Springtime Is Upon Us

Springtime is upon us
Its sweet air fills my senses
Warmed gently by the sun
It breathes life into my soul
And splashes color upon all that I see

Surely the Lord is for us
His sweet and honeyed presence with us
His song sung over us
His song of deliverance

Deliverance from darkness all around
Deliverance from darkness within
Deliverance from past that haunts
Deliverance from sin that so easily besets

Deliverance into His loving hands
Deliverance into His future glory
His glory reserved for us
From before the foundations of the earth

Surely God is for us
His love ever with us
He has called us as His children
He is calling us to be His bride
He cannot be prevented
He will not fail
